My Review

When I first wanted to buy Clarisonic, I couldn’t find too many reviews out there on the internet. Normally the first thing I do is look for reviews and because this product is particularly expensive I really wanted a good Clarisonic review. As a result, I have written up my experiences here:

I heard about Clarisonic from a good friend of mine. She had problems with her pores for years and I commented on how she was looking so much better recently. I am not one to dole out compliments often, I really thought she looked much healthier and better than usual. It was then that she told me about Clarisonic. At first I was skeptical, can what looks like a futuristic hairbrush really provide these results? I mean, its called Sonic Skin Cleansing, can I really fall for that?

Despite this, I was still curious about the product and looked into it further. Apparently Clarisonic works at 300 movements per second to clean skin and remove excess makeup etc. I have always been one to apply copious amounts of makeup and was interested in whether or not Clarisonic could cut down some of the time I spent clearing my skin.

I eventually ordered it and was pleased to receive free shipping. It arrived a couple of days later and I eagerly got it out the box to try it. In the box was a cleanser, a brush for sensitive skin and a regular brush. On the device is a timer for one minute or two minutes along with two settings, slow and fast.

So I picked it up to try it and found it to be quite a pleasant experience. It felt a bit strange at first but you quickly get used to it. The problem in the past with these kind of brushes has been that if you hold it over one part of the face for too long then it will become red and sore. Clarisonic gets rid of this problem through a helpful system of beeps. The unit beeps after twenty seconds so you can do your forehead, 2o seconds for the nose, mouth and chin and 10 seconds for the left cheek and 10 more seconds for the right cheek.

I have only had intermittent problems in the past with my pores but they were really very clean after using the Clarisonic device. My face too looked very clean and was not at all tender. On top of this, it was very easy to put on makeup the next morning because my skin was much cleaner than it had been previously.

Perhaps the best thing about Clarisonic is that it only takes sixty seconds. If it took ten minutes I would probably say don’t bother but seeing as it really takes no time at all to do it the results are definitely worth it.

Of course there are some negative aspects with the product. First of all, it is pretty expensive, but I would say that it is a worthy investment in the long run. I have had my Clarisonic brush for well over a year now and it is working just as well as it did the day I bought it.

Also, if you are not careful and use too much cleanser then it can dry out your skin a little bit. After a few weeks you will learn how much you need but this was initially a problem for me.

In conclusion, I am very pleased with my Clarisonic brush. It is quite a lot of money, but my skepticism has most definitely been proved wrong as I don’t really know how I would live without it now!
